2022 was off to a great start, but the best thing we achieved this year was getting a gold medal...wait. If you think that is the news we are most excited about, then NO. Cricket runs in our blood. Sports are the topic at every dining table. It is a source that brings us together, yet there is always a separation. Consciously or unconsciously, women's achievements in sports are not as much discussed or appreciated around the globe. Sports knows no boundaries, and so do we! We are super proud to announce that we won a gold medal in Single Female Badminton Championship' at the Fast Annual Sports Gala, and a woman made it possible for us. Moments like these remind us that women are the jack of all trades and real MVPs without any doubt! How long have you been working at ibex?

It’s been 5 years already.

What is the best part about your job?

The opportunity to endeavor new ideas. Bringing vision for an event to completion. To be able to be creative; driven by deadlines. Global scope and engagement with partners and employees every day.

How are you feeling with your latest achievement?

It feels aaa-maa-zing! This achievement in my life echo’s my hard work, weight loss and fitness journey and unmatched passion to WIN and flaunt it 😊

If you were to describe your journey in a song, then which song would it be?

That would be “Pack It Up' by Pretenders, it talks about New Beginnings and life inspirations.

What do you think about sports, and most importantly, what do you think about women in sports?

Playing sports builds your personality and teaches you to live life in a better way. It feels proud to see women excelling in sports. It shown their mental and physical strength in front of the world.

What future do you see for Pakistan in sports?

The future of sports will probably look very different from today's sports industry. Today the industry anticipates the development of smart stadiums with hologram displays, video walls, social media follower-based seating, and virtual reality applications, the digitalization era is keeping the future of sports pretty bright.

Can you throw some light on the initiatives that ibex. is taking to promote sports and physical activities?

ibex. has been a great promotor of Sports. We have Annual Cricket tournaments, we take part in sports Gala’s and have a lot of indoor sports activities

Do you have any secret talent?

I have a few of them, I can actually Turn my feet Around 360° and talk with my mouth closed.

What is your favorite mantra?

“You are the weather, everything else is just the sky”

Do you agree that sports can be great for employee motivation?

It is the best engagement, motivation and incentive that an employee can have. It lifts spirits up like no other.

What inspires you to deliver the best every day?

My drive and passion to deliver top quality detailed oriented execution of everything and anything I do.

Is there any secret of keeping a balance between both work and social life?

I am a homey introvert who happens to be a workaholic. I practice meditation and workouts very regularly. I unwind with my Playlist, my favorite sea food and a few favorite people.

Sports have the potential to significantly empower women and girls. Sports have been recognized in many countries as a powerful tool for amplifying women's voices and breaking down gender barriers and discrimination. Woman's participation in sports defies the stereotype of being physically weak or incapable. What’s your opinion on this statement?

There is nothing in the world that women cannot achieve. All we need to do is develop self-confidence. They believe that you CAN achieve all those goals. There are bad days, but don’t let them bring you down. The plan is to keep moving forward. Take risks. It's O.K. to be afraid, but you just need to take a plunge anyway.
