• Customize and develop WordPress themes to meet client specifications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
• Implement responsive and visually appealing designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility
• Create custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes to align with project requirements and design mockups
• Integrate and configure WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality, such as e-commerce, forms, and SEO optimization
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and address any bugs or issues, ensuring the website meets quality standards and performs flawlessly
• Collaborate closely with designers, back end developers, and project managers to translate design concepts into functional websites, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing websites, including updates, backups, and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise

Job Specifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization
• Strong front end development skills with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with front end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery) and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus
• Knowledge of PHP programming and MySQL database management for WordPress customization and optimization
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
